Our daughter is living in Japan at the moment and I wanted to make her a present with my newly learned skill. Her (and mine) favourite color is ......pink:
From my earlier mentioned friend Joke I got new shuttles as a present (in addition to the two old ones that came with the loom). We ordered them from the internet shop Patiss.
It is always a challenge for me to try to make a project non-symmetrical, playful. But I tried.......
In the end the warp was too long and I could make two scarfs in stead of one.
This time I finished the ends with a hemstitch: found it on Pinterest (as so may things about weaving).
So one in Japan and one in the Netherlands:
