Inkle loom or not

I have this beautiful inkle loom my husband made for me.

Now I wanted to weave some band for a Norwegian sweater I was knitting.
I tried several times and made four different warps for the inkle loom, but I couldn't get it right.

Back to the big loom. Luckily there aren't so many threads in such a narrow warp, so of I go!

The first bit already looks promising.

And the back even looks better!!!

Quite a job with al the picking up of threads, but finally the needed 2 meters were ready.
