Plaid scarf for mum

 

 My mum always talks about her Scottish heritage, so I designed a tartan scarf for her birthday.

Warp and weft are sock knitting wool (80% wool, 20% viscose) from Meilenweit Lana Grossa

A simple twill works fine for this kind of pattern.

The fringe twister made this job easy 😉

Well ....... 150 fringes ....... still took some time .... 

Finished: 190 cm woolen scarf for mum!
